Meet us in Cancún: 4th EU–Caribbean Conference on Sargassum

Our team will be in Cancún for the 4th EU–Caribbean Global Gateway Conference on Sargassum, presenting our sargassum dewatering solution and a proposed demonstration of up to 1,000 tonnes in Mexico.

Meet us in Cancún: 4th EU–Caribbean Conference on Sargassum

The 4th EU–Caribbean Global Gateway Conference on Sargassum takes place in Cancún on October 1–2, 2026, co-organized by the European Union and the Government of Mexico through SEMARNAT, with the Government of Quintana Roo. The agenda moves from regional pilots to market: aligning sargassum supply with industrial demand, then financing and scaling.

Our team will be there with a practical solution for the step between removal and use. Sargassum is about 80% water. An industrial continuous screw press removes most of it before the material is hauled, stored or dried, and turns one wet load into two manageable streams.

What we will share

  • Results of our June 2024 sargassum pressing trial: about 60% of incoming weight removed as liquid, dewatered biomass at about 35% solids, storage volume down about 70%.
  • Engineered material handling: high-solids hydraulic pumping or conveyor transfer into industrial screw-press dewatering, in mobile or stationary configurations.
  • A proposed demonstration of up to 30 days or about 1,000 tonnes of Mexican sargassum, with independent measurement of the feed, dewatered biomass and liquid.

We’re ready — let’s get started.

Tell us what you're collecting, how much you're handling and what needs to happen next. We'll help determine the transfer, dewatering and material-handling configuration required to move the project forward.
